Half term Holiday

Education provision in the school is closed from 4 o’clock on Thursday  23rd October and reopens on Monday 3rd November

Daycare provision is not closed- both buildings are open as usual.

There will be Holiday club in the school building during half term holiday from Monday 27th – Friday 31st October. This for children aged 3-8 years old.  Please ask in the school office if you would like to book a place.

Booster Seat Law

Your child must be in the back seat of your car on a booster seat and fastened in with a seat belt- it is against the law for children to be in the front seat or not to be strapped in- the community police officers are making regular check s and will fine parents who do not comply with the law. Please keep your child safe and follow the law.

Flourescent Jackets

You will be given a leaflet  with this newsletter for ordering fluorescent jackets for children. Please return this with the money to  the school office or under three's manager

Photographer

The photographer will be in the nursery school building on Tuesday 16th October to take individual photographs of all the children. Parents do not need to stay as it will take all session to have all the children’s photos taken. If you want your child to wear special clothes then give them to your child’s key person who will change them.

We will take photos with younger brothers and sisters at the beginning of each session

You will be able to see the photos before you pay – you will get a sample and a price list  You can choose which you want to order. If you don’t want your child to be photographed at all please tell  Mrs Allen or Mr Elcoat

Playing Outside

Playing outside is good for children. We make sure all children go outside every day unless the weather is really bad.

Our curriculum from the government says that…..

“being outdoors has a positive impact on children's sense of well being and helps all aspects of children’s development”
