Do not pull on the door or let your child pull on the door– it will break the security lock which is very expensive to repair. Please press the buzzer and wait for someone to let you in

Day Car Fees

The fees that parents pay for childcare is used to pay the staff wages and buy
resources for the children. We provide high quality care and learning for all
children in our under three’s unit and nursery school.
All the staff that work in our care provision—in the under three’s unit and the
nursery school are qualified and experienced because we believe that young
children deserve to have experiences and opportunities planned by adults who
understand their learning needs. All our care staff are paid at the local authority
rates and not the minimum wage as in some private nurseries—this means we
get the best staff for your children but means that our staffing costs are high.
As the head teacher Mrs Kenny has responsibility for all the children’s
development and ensures that high standards are maintained in both buildings
We also keep the fees as low as possible for parents but we will need to
increase our fees in September. You will be send a letter informing of the new
fees in July.
We do not make a profit on our daycare like many private nurseries do and our
fee rates are lower than many nearby private nurseries
We believe in offering the best possible care at an affordable price for working
parents and because of our high quality provision a waiting list for places in
both buildings.
Bolton council pay for the free nursery education for three and four year olds
but we do not get any subsidy for our daycare from the local authority.
It has to be self financing. Children on the daycare register get a reduction in
fees from the government grant the term after they are 3.
The contract you sign for childcare states that you willpay a week in advance
and clear the amount on your invoice by the end of each month. If you pay a
week in advance then your invoice should be fully paid by the third week of
the month.
We will not allow parents to carry over arrears at the end of the month.
If at the end of the month you still have arrears then you willnot be able to
leave your child for daycare until the arrears have been cleared.
Staff in both buildings will refuse to take your child on the first day of the
month if the invoice has not been paid.
You must pay for the hours on your contract whether your child comes or not.
If your child is booked in from 1 o’clock then you cannot leave them at 12.30
unless you have arranged to do so a week in advance. We can then arrange for
extra staff to be on duty to maintain the correct ratios required by the
government .
