Friday July 23rd – school closes for education children for summer break

August 11th – picnic day for all daycare children in the school garden- see over

School reopens on Tuesday September 7th

Under threes daycare will be open as normal through the summer. There will be day care through the summer in the school building. We also have  holiday club sessions for children aged 3-8 in the school building

PLEASE NOTE- SCHOOL AND DAYCARE WILL BE CLOSED FOR STAFF TRAINING ON FRIDAY 3RD SEPTEMBER AND MONDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER

Parent consultation meetings will take place from July 5th to 16th

You will soon be getting a letter asking you to book to see your child's key person to discuss their progress.

The last meetings in April were very well attended by the parents of children in the over threes (81%) but only a few of under threes parents made appointments to see their child's key person  (29%)

 Please indicate on the booking form if you would like a late appointment

On July 19th the children will be performing stories and songs for parents friends and visitors. Each group has been working hard on their performance and want as many parents as possible to come and see it.

This will be followed by the graduation ceremony where we say good bye to children leaving us to move to primary school in September.

This year we will be holding the performance and graduation in the hall at Sunninghill primary school

 Parents are invited to come at 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock

We will have an open day and garden party on Wednesday 14th July from 9-5 in the school building.  This will give parents  and friends chance to look at the new garden

We will do sports on this day and there will be games and stalls

We will serve refreshments  and ice creams and there will be a tombola

Please bring items for us to put on the tombola such as:

Bathroom toiletries Chocolates  New toys  Jewellery  Gifts

This is for all parents and children in both our buildings and the community

THERE WILL ALSO BE A TOMBOLA IN THE UNDER THREES CENTRE

Your child will be bringing home a bag for you to put in things for recycling

Please put in the following

clothes  shoes  bags fabric   textiles .

We get money for every bag and the clothes are sorted and sent to families in Africa

You need to bring the back bag on

 TUESDAY JULY 20TH     we cannot accept them before this date as they would become a fire hazard

individual photos- the photographer will be in the under threes centre on July 6th- please tell your child's key person if you don’t want to have your child's photo taken.

There is no compulsion to buy the photos

July 15th- beach party children can bring their swim suits and trunks

August 11th – picnic day

The under threes children will go to the over threes to Have a picnic in the garden with the older children
