There are photographs of all staff who work in the under three’s centre in the corridor near the entrance.

The staff in the under three’s centre have been arranged into new teams with a team leader who is in charge of each team. You will be getting information about which group your child is in and who is the team leader for that group. Please talk to the team leaders or Vanessa if you have any concerns or queries. You will be given a letter with more information nearer the time and asked to sign a permission slip for us to do this with your child.

The staff will have four sessions showing how to do baby gym and then this will be a regular part of our work with the children.

Parents will not be asked to pay extra for this service

Attendance

You will see attendance certificates on the notice board in the over three’s building for children with the best attendance last term.

Congratulations to the parents of Cameron Warburton, Dawood Nalla, Fatimah Mogra, Aabid Patel, Hannah Daud, Hamza Bux, Junaid Patel, Yusuf Makkan, Taylor French,
Raheema Patel, Seun Badmus, Maliha Akhtar, for getting them to school more than 96% of the expected time.

100% attendance achieved by Liam O’Mara, Callum Treacy, Khadija Manaf,
Isma Khan, Maison Gill, Leyton Griffiths.

Unfortunately not all parents are helping their child to attend school regularly - some children were present for less than 80% of the time last term. Nursery education is very important for children's development. We cannot teach your child if they are not here. We lay the foundations for all future learning and development. If your child does not come to school then it will affect the progress they make in reception and year one and could affect their test results at the end of key stage 1 and 2.

We have a very long waiting list for our school provision . If your child does not attend then we will give the place to someone else

Remember : to let us know if your child is ill - telephone 332678 . Otherwise your child will be marked as having an unauthorised absence.

Reminders

The library in the over three’s centre is now available everyday if it is not out when

If your child brings home our toys in their pocket please can you return them

Children must not come with chewing gum or sweets either in their mouth or pockets

Please remember to pay snack money on a Monday for over three’s - £1.25
If your child has a full time place then you must pay twice - £2.50
