Staff News
• Miss Sumiya Patel

Will  be  leaving the under threes centre on April 20th  – she has decided to move on.

We wish her good luck for the future

• Mrs Farhana Master

will be  a permanent member  of staff from April 2010

Spud and Yam

Are a music duo – Spud is Kate, an Irish singer and storyteller .Yam is Winston, a musician from Jamaica

Spud and Yam will spend a day in each building working with children and staff on singing, dancing, movement  and storytelling.

There is no extra charge for this . The school budget pays for them to come so we can offer extra curricular activities for all children. If your child does not come on the days they are here then please talk to your child’s key person about coming in with your child or bringing them for an extra session.

Sweets

Please don’t send your child to our centres with food or sweets.

We recently found a child giving food from a bag to other children

We have to be very careful that children are not given food that makes them ill or goes against religious beliefs. There are children in our centres who are allergic to milk and so we make sure they don’t eat chocolate

If your child has food in their bag please tell a member of staff and we can put it somewhere where the food is safe and other children cannot get it.

Angels Needed

the costumes we use for the angels in our nativity play at Christmas are looking tatty

Some of our parents made them about 10 years ago !!

Could you please make us a new one ready for next year – ask Mrs Kenny for a template
