WE HAVE:

  • children from many different cultures and backgrounds
  • children from homes where many different faiths are practiced
  • children who speak many different home languages

 

WE BELIEVE:

  • all children are unique and special and should be treated as individuals
  • differences in culture, race, colour, religion and language should be celebrated
  • parents play a vital part in their child’s learning and development and we want to work in partnership with them
  • all people, both adults and children, must be treated with respect and valued for who they are
  • that our school and under three’s centre should reflect the values of the local and wider community

 

WE WANT:

  • to make our school and under three’s centre a warm and welcoming place for every one to work and learn in
  • to provide a non discriminatory environment where all people feel safe and secure and behave in an
    acceptable way towards each other
  • to create an environment which is exciting, stimulating and fun to play in both indoors and outside
  • to provide activities that are well planned together with those which reflect the children’s interests
  • the children to become confident and independent learners ready to explore and face any challenges which may come their way
  • the children to make good relationships with both adults and their peers
  • to provide children with a lifestyle which promotes healthy eating and physical exercise
